Our team of Mechanical Engineers and Designers can work with you at any stage of your product development cycle. We can work with your team up front on the initial product design and prototyping stages, ensuring parts are designed utilizing DFM (Design for Manufacturability) practices to help minimize fabrication costs and assembly labor. Alternatively Advantage can help analyze your current designs to offer suggestions for cost reductions in the fabrication process to improve your bottom line and reduce your time to market.

For companies with limited Engineering resources, Advantage can provide full project management and product development services to help transform your concepts into reality. This would include developing design concepts, holding design reviews, building prototypes and ultimately releasing your product to production.

During the design process we can produce full 3D solid models of your designs using Solidworks and Pro-Engineer software packages. We can work directly with your 2D drawing with AutoCAD software as well. Any engineering and design work that you have already done can by utilized by importing your files from most any CAD package; Solidworks (SLDPRT), Pro-Engineer (PRT), Inventor (IPT), DWG, DXF, STEP, SAT, IGES and many others. Your current CAD models do not even need to be submitted as sheet metal components, we can do the conversion for you in house and supply you back the revised models if desired.
